Previously an English teacher in Korea, Cindy immigrated to the US in 1998 and became a certified MRI tech in 2000. In 2002, she founded SHIN MRI in Koreatown, starting with her savings of $28,000.
Cindy has always had a commitment to quality patient care, the compassionate personal side of diagnostic care as much as the technical side without the interference of the corporate bottom line and affordable price to bring the best radiology service to everyone.
What motivates your desire to give back?
A sense of obligation to help those less fortunate in our community to access advanced medical care at Providence St. Jude Medical center and improve their quality of life.

Sharing Providence St. Jude’s mission, vision and values with Korean community and helping Korean community to participate and collaborate for fund raising and community activities.
