He has held various leadership positions at St. Jude including Chairman of the Women and Children’s department, Chief of Staff of the Medical Staff, and a Member and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Medical Center.
Dennis has five adult children: two older sons and a set of triplet daughters born at St. Jude and cared for so well in the NICU after their birth.
What motivates your desire to give back?
St. Jude has meant so much to me professionally and personally it seemed important to give back.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
Many of my immediate and extended family have been cared for at St. Jude. Some of which came from outside of the region because of the expertise of the physicians and staff at St. Jude
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
I’ve been involved with the Memorial Foundation for many years and in a number of ways, including serving a few terms on the Memorial Foundation Board.
