Mike and Amy had kids and never intended to leave paradise but he received a job offer he couldn’t refuse from Lighthouse Financial Services in Brea. The firm’s founder introduced him to St. Jude Memorial Foundation in 2012 and suggested he get involved. He has served on the board ever since.
What motivates your desire to give back?
I grew up in Fullerton, and St. Jude has always been my family’s hospital.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
We have been well cared for not only by the medical center but also by Heritage for decades.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
I’ve seen first-hand how dedicated, caring and flexible the hospital’s leadership team is. Their hard work is evidenced by the continuous flow of industry awards and accolades.
