What motivates your desire to give back?

I grew up in a Christian family.  My parents taught me community service is one of the ways to share Jesus’s ministry with the community. God has blessed me, and it is important to share these blessings with others.

Why are you supporting the medical center?

I am a breast cancer survivor and received my treatment at Providence St. Jude.  I am so grateful to the medical staff for the excellent care that I received. In 2019, my husband was critically ill.  The Providence St. Jude family saved his life and rallied around him during recovery. By supporting the medical center, it is an opportunity for me to support the Providence St. Jude staff in providing care to the patients.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

I want to help Providence St. Jude provide excellent care for all those who seek it.
